Esser's Commissary is THE most affordable commissary for mobile food vendors including hot dog carts, push carts, ice cream trucks, food trailers and anyone seeking a commercial kitchen storage and cleaning facility. We are located in Durham, North Carolina. We know how important it is for mobile vendors to keep costs low, because we own and operate our own hot dog empire called Dang Good Dogs!
Please note: our commissary does NOT have cooking equipment, so check with the Health Department to verify whether you can use our commissary. OUR PRICING:
Only $250 a month (hot dog carts/pushcarts) and $350 (concession trailers/food trucks/other) for the following amenities:
- Storage for your food (as required by the Durham County Health Department)
- A place for you to empty your waste water and re-fill your water tanks (as required by the Durham County Health Department)
- Refrigerators & Freezers
- Mop basin to empty waste water and clean food-carts/push-carts
- 3-compartment dish sink to wash food cart utensils and items
- Preparation sink for cutting/washing items
- Easy access to the facility, day or night 24/7
- Bathroom
- General liability insurance for your business
- A signed agreement
- A valid license and permit
